Wat Saimoon is a Myanmar Buddhist temple, in the Thai city of Chiang Mai, inside the moat. Inside the main entrance are two white and red lions, guarding the temple from harm. According to the inscription above the main entrance the Wat was constructed in 1993. Entry to the Wat is unrestricted, but a small donation is always welcome.
