Originally a Gothic water fortress from the 13th century was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle in 1530 - 1547. The castle was rebuilt to baroque style in the 17th century. In the years 1839 - 1875 was placed a sugar factory in the castle. This greatly damaged the interior.

The castle was repair again in 1959, especially was restored renaissance sgraffito facades. Currently the castle serve as a cultural center for the needs of the village. The castle is a four-wing two-storey building with an entrance gate on the north side.

Puvodne gotická vodní tvrz ze 13. století byla v letech 1530 – 1547 prestavena na renesancní zámek, který byl v 17. století prestaven v barokním stylu. V letech 1839 – 1875 byl do zámeckého objektu umísten cukrovar, címž utrpely predevším interiéry.

Pri oprave zámku v roce 1959 byla obnovena renesancní sgrafitová výzdoba fasád. V soucasné dobe slouží zámek jako kulturní dum a pro potreby obce. Zámek je dvoupatrová ctyrkrídlá budova se vstupní bránou na severní strane.
