Do zdejšího kraje velmi citelne zasáhly napoleonské války. První voje Francouzu se objevily v Babicích 19.listopadu 1805. Na pocest odchodu francouzských vojsk v roce 1806 nechali u cesty do Rosic vztycit obyvatelé pametní kríž. Na pomníku jsou vytesána jména tehdejších babických konšelu.

This region was very severely affected by the Napoleonic wars. The first French troops appeared in Babice 19.11.1805. In memory of the departure of French troops in 1806 local residents erect a memorial cross. On the monument are carved the names of the then village aldermen.
