This mural has been produced on the outside of the side wall of a domestic garage beside a dwelling, which borders the park on the northwestern side.

The mural is approximately 6 metres wide by 2.4 metres high and shows 'Andy Pages Truck 1925' carrying a couple (the Pages), driving past 'Howells Pharmacy' and 'Pages Service Station'.

The artists have painted a light beige rectangle on the darker beige wall, and have used various shades of browns as well as a small amount of white and black to show the two businesses and the early model small truck.

While trying to find out about other murals around Gosnells I read about this mural in a blog by 'The Extraordinary Tourist' whose real name is 'David Arandle'.

In his blog he wrote:
"Speaking of Art, one thing I happened to notice was still there, after seven years, is this mural at 'Pages Park'. Murals tend to have a short life span due to graffiti bandits but I noticed that this mural has been continually touched up to cover any graffiti damage.

You might wonder why I care about this mural until you look at the bigger version of the photo and notice that it was designed and painted by me with assistance from Rose. I've painted a few public murals around Gosnells when I lived there. As far as I know this is the only one that has survived time. Not particularly because it's great but because it links Pages Park to the history of the people who used to live at that very spot.

The Pages Park Mural links me to Gosnells through my art. I kind of like that."

After reading that I had to have a look, and I was quite impressed.

David also writes "it was designed and painted by me with assistance from Rose" but the bottom right hand corner (Closeup 4) reads "Painted by David & Leslie Arandle".

There is a convenient parking area at the far end of the park at S32° 04.349' E116° 00.235'.
