In Redmond from the intersection with US97, travel generally SE on SW Airport Way for about 0.2 miles. Turn right on SW 19th Street and continue roughly 0.8 miles. Walk S cross-country for 0.7 miles, then W for 1.0 miles to the railroad right-of-way.

The standard corner is marked with a white paddle board and a loosely-set 4-foot length of pipe. There is a remnant of paneling material, which suggests past use in an aerial survey. There are two scribed bearing trees, one sawed off, each marked with a nail and brass washer stamped COUNTY SURVEYOR.


What property is this mark defining?:
The standard corner is on the Third Standard Parallel South. Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1311.
