The building at 107 South First Street was built in 1903 after a fire in 1901 destroyed all buildings in this section of Clarksville. The building was built to house The Clarksville Piker, a local newspaper, which existed until 1916. The building featured a brick dentiled cornice. The building is in good condition and now houses a pottery and cottage furniture shop.
