This station, a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey and State Survey standard disk, is located in New Boston, NH. It is set in a boulder between NH Route 13 and the Piscataquog River. The NHDOT datasheet description is as follows:
THE STATION IS LOCATED IN NEW BOSTON.TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE ROUTES 13, 136, AND 77 IN NEW BOSTON, GO NORTHEAST FOR 2.0 MI ON ROUTE 13 TO THE STATION ON THE LEFT. ALSO, 0.7 MI SOUTHWEST FROM THE JUNCTION OF GREGG MILL ROAD.THE STATION IS A STANDARD USCGS AND SS DISK STAMPED--C 98 1934--, SET IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF A 10-FT X 9-FT X 6-FT HIGH LARGE BOULDER LEVEL WITH THE ROAD, AND AT THE EDGE OF THE RIVER 7.5 FT ABOVE THE RIVER BED. LOCATED 150 FT SOUTHWEST FROM THE JUNCTION OF A GRAVEL ROAD LEADING TO JENKINS SAND AND GRAVEL, 35.0 FT WEST FROM THE CENTER OF THE ROAD, 10.0 FT WEST FROM A METAL DELINEATOR POST, 7.0 FT SOUTHWEST FROM A 1-FT DIAMETER HEMLOCK TREE.
