With the Geodetic Code BDPT this is a stainless steel pin in the kerb which replaces a lead plug and is of order 4. The ID plaque was attached to the kerb on 1st May, 1998. It is on the kerb on the south side of the Leeward Drive/Ensign Lane intersection in Whitby, land district of Wellington. It has the name LP XXIX DP 43799 and was last maintained on 9th March, 2001.

There are two other different sets of co-ordinates given for this surey mark besides the WGS84 co-ordinates given by GPSr;

NEW ZEALAND GEODETIC DATUM 1949 COORDINATES Latitude: 41° 06' 50.6592" S Longitude: 174° 53' 00.2046" E

NZGD 2000 COORDINATES Latitude: 41° 06' 44.42940" S Longitude: 174° 53' 00.91086" E height: 47.3m
