In Redmond from the intersection with US97, travel generally SE on SW Airport Way for about 0.2 miles. Turn right of SW 19th Street and continue roughly 0.5 miles. Walk 0.5 mile E on a paved, then cinder road to the quarter corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The quarter corner is about 35 feet S of the road, in a fence line. The two bearing trees were charred in a fire. The farther was cut down, but the nearer, across the road, still stands. There is an orange Carsonite witness post.
What property is this mark defining?: The corner was remonumented in 1953 during a US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management Dependent Resurvey over Section 28, Township 15 South, Range 13 East.
