Peace Dale Library is a large stone building. Facing front and on the right is a round section from ground to the third level. This is offset on the left by a square like protruding section. The main entrance way is thru an arched opening with the inscription Hazard Memorial. The Hazard family was instrumental in establishing the area with the mills they opened.
