"A Igreja do Espírito Santo é um monumento religioso da vila de Arcos de Valdevez, estando situado no Jardim dos Centenários, freguesia Salvador.

A sua construção iniciou-se em 1647 e as obras prolongaram-se ao longo do século XVII.

Nos inícios do século XIX foi levantada a actual fachada em estilo neoclássico, depois da anterior ter ficado seriamente afectada por um raio.

O interior, com uma só nave, é decorado com um riquíssimo conjunto de talha barroca.

A torre sineira foi construída entre 1724 e 1727 pelo Mestre Domingos Matias e a capela-mor foi ampliada em 1746.

Está classificada com Imóvel de Interesse Público."

"The Church of the Holy Spirit is a religious monument in the village of Arcos de Valdevez, situated in the Garden of Centennial, parish Salvador.

Its construction began in 1647 and the works lasted throughout the seventeenth century.

In the early nineteenth century was raised the current neoclassical facade, after the previous one has been seriously affected by lightning.

The interior, with a single nave, is decorated with a rich set of baroque carving.

The bell tower was built between 1724 and 1727 by Master Dominic Matthias and the main chapel was enlarged in 1746.
