The Northern Pacific Depot was built circa 1909 for the Northern Pacific Railroad on the route between Duluth and St. Paul. The depot is typical of combination depots serving small towns along the route. The tracks have now been removed and it roadbed is the Willard Munger State Trail, bicycle trail between Hinkley and Duluth. The depot has been restored and is open occasionally for special events.
