Parc Plas Mawr is a small local industrial heritage park which combines historical information and artist interpretation.

It opened in 2001 with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Arts Council of Wales and Conwy County Borough Council.

The foundations of Plas Mawr, the former home of the Darbishire family, the local quarry owners, have been restored. They have centre-stage in the park.

The former Prime Minister, W.E. Gladstone was entertained at Plas Mawr during his many visits to Penmaenmawr.

Scattered around the park are a number of rather abstract sculptures, all of which can be enjoyed whilst walking around the parks paths.
