This huge mosaic is found on the underpass of Horizon Drive and Interstate 70 in Grand Junction. The mosaic covers both sides of the underpass. The design reflects the colorful mesas of the Grand Mesa geologic formation (
visit link) and the wild horses (Mustangs) which came from the Spanish explorers. The nearest legal parking is at the nearby Grand Junction Visitors Center (N39° 06.612, W108° 32.404).

This is a very busy area with heavy traffic. Please use the crosswalks and lights.
