This very unusual memorial to mark Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee is currently located on Fernbrook Road, opposite the Natwest bank in Penmaenmawr.

There is a bi-lingual notice next to the barometer which states that it was moved from its original position in 1903 after being damaged by a horse-drawn wagon.

The barometer was renovated in 2008 under the Penmaenmawr Townscape Heritage Initiative by Alan Teagle.

The canopy of the structure has the inscription ' 1887 THE JUBILEE BAROMETER '.
Type of Historic Marker: Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee memorial (Barometer).
