Prairie City was relocated from HW 50 when that was widened. Many were simply unknown. There has been news over the original spelling of Negro Hill. Each of these were on the outskirts of Folsom,
El Dorado County.
With many unknowns, the number may be 300-600 burials.
From Green Valley Rd., watch for the turn off at Shadowfax Ln.
There was once a riding stable in the area.
It is in the shadow of the dam that relocated these original cemeteries.
