The Kings Head (owned by the Wadenhoe Trust) is beautifully situated in the village of Wadenhoe.

This lovely stone, part thatched pub dates back to the 17th century. The interior has tiled and wooden floors and is beamed.

There are picnic sets in the large garden with pretty lawned paddock by the side of the River Nene. Wide choice of food from bar snack up. Sunday lunch. Well worth a visit. but Can be busy in summer. Children area welcome. Dogs allowed. and serves Real ales.
