The sign is located at Sulphur Caldron Overlook along the Grand Loop Road about 6 miles north of Lake Junction. This sign discusses the thermoacidophile microorganisms that live in the extremely hot acidic environment of the Sulphur Caldron and many other hot springs at Yellowstone.
