Gig Harbor cemetery is a quiet spot hidden away from the busy side of the harbor. It is the resting spot for some of the harbor's pioneers. The sign on the gate say that it was established August 28, 1891 but there are headstones here dated as far back as 1888. I am unable to find an accurate count of interments but there are probably somewhere near 100.
