Located in Tijuana's largest park, Parque Morelos, this zoo has no particular entrance. Animal exhibits are spread throughout the park and feature some domesticated animals... pigs, goats, deer as well as wild bears, lions, jaguars, tigers, monkeys, birds, and a butterfly house.
This sculpture is located near a bear exhibit... and the sign is worded poorly in Spanish. It would appear that someone took the following information from Wikipedia (visit link) and ran it through an online translator.

"A cuauhxicalli or quauhxicalli (Nahuatl pronunciation: [k?a???i'kal?i], meaning "Eagle gourd bowl") was an altar-like stone vessel used by the Aztecs to contain human hearts extracted in sacrificial ceremonies. A cuahxicalli would often be decorated with animal motifs, commonly eagles or jaguars. Another kind of cuauhxicalli is the Chacmool-type which is shaped as a reclining person holding a bowl on his belly."
