Constructed as an octagonal design this font is a Perpendicular style. It is made from stone and has a quatrefoil and shield imagery carved into the sides. This is also shown in the ironwork on the font cover.

The church dates to the 14th century and was extensively restored in 1866 by Digby Wyatt. We also include some photos of the painted shields which appear on the central pillars of the church.
Approximate Age of Artefact: Perpendicular style - 19th century
