Dance of the Cranes at Omaha's Eppley Airfield, at the time it was created, was the largest bronze sculpture in North America. It is 15-ton sculpture that is 5 stories tall.

The artist, John Raimondi, was inspired by the graceful moves of the Sandhill Crane's mating dance. The flowing lines of the cranes wings soar gracefully 60' feet into the air. A sharp contrast to the sharp angular fixed wings of the aircraft at this airport.
