Located at 302 W. Oklahoma Avenue, this is a large rectangular brick building, with two stories and a basement. Two entrances facing North are comprised of single metal and glass doors with transoms. They are accessed by six concrete steps. Each has a large stone surround. Above the east door is a rendering of the Masonic Blazing Star, and above the west door is the Masonic Square and Compasses symbol. The Square is an emblem of virtue, and the compasses exemplify wisdom of conduct. The "G" at the center of the emblem represents God and Geometry, the mathematic science on which architecture and masonry are founded.

The building is very simple and basic in structure. The north side has a row of very small vertical 8-lite windows with stone sills on the first floor and two vertical 5-window panels on the second level. The east elevation has four larger double-hung windows on the first floor, and two windows on the second, with three inset brick panels. A stone beltcourse runs around the building at the height of 3 feet, and a wide stone beltcourse below the roofline is engraved "A.D. 1935 W. A. DIXON MEMORIAL MASONIC TEMPLE A.L. 5935".

A large two-sided cornerstone is located at the east entrance, documenting this building's construction in 1935. When W. A. Dixon passed away, he left $25,000 to the Blue Lodge of the local Masonic order to build this Masonic Hall, which is named in his honor. The Masons offered the city of Anadarko the use of the lower floor as their public library in exchange for the maintenance of the building and grounds. The library operated from this location from 1939 to 1990.

The Anadarko Masonic organization was established in 1884 prior to the land being opened for public settlement. It is the oldest masonic organization in the west half of Oklahoma.
