When you are facing this sign, the magnificent ABO Ruins are directly in front of you. The desert is a special place, harsh, unyielding and unforgiving, yet hundreds of years ago, this location was settled by missionaries who took it upon themselves to build literally from the ground, a dwelling, the remains of which you see before you. Created from mud, grass and little else, it has stood the test of time.
