I had the opportunity to stop here and visit the Abo Ruins and speak with the Ranger on duty; he was absolutely knowledgeable, entertaining and educational about the Ruins, the area, and the history of this park.
The Ruins are an amazing sight, with their red-brick color, and an upclose look will reveal the incredible work, talent and skill that was brought to work to create this special place.
Enjoy the displays inside the Ranger station, grab one of the loaner maps of the Ruins, and then head on over to get a close-up view of the ancient dwellings!
