New Salem is a old cemetery on the north side of Evansville, IN. It is located on Campground Rd near 1st Ave. There are approximately 700 graves in the cemetery, which is much bigger than it initially appears to be. There are a few sections of the cemetery that seem to be in rough shape with some headstones broken and piled up. Overall, though, it is a nice cemetery.
