The focus of the mosaic is the coat of arms of the town of Soller. They are positioned in front of the doors into the church and below the statue of St. Bartholomew himself.

The coat of arms consists of two lions standing below the sun. This part of the church was rebuilt between 1904 and 1947, these dates being visible at the base of the statue. The architect was Joan Rubió i Bellver.
