Dne 16. cervence se uskutecnila pravdepodobne nejzásadnejší akce rozhlednového roku 2005 - slavnostní otevrení rozhledny na Velkém Lopeníku. Pocasí se pomerne vydarilo, a proto se na rozhledne vystrídal velký pocet lidí. O výstavbu rozhledny se zasloužilo Sdružení Mikroregionu Bojkovsko, které tak dalo ceskému rozhlednovému království jednu z jeho nejzajímavejších ozdob.

On 16 July, probably the most important events took place in 2005 - official opening of the Great Tower Lopeník. The weather was quite a success, so the tower was replaced by a large number of people. The construction of the tower appears to have brought the Association of Microregion Bojkovsko, which gave the Czech Kingdom Tower one of its most interesting decorations.
