Igreja matriz dedicada a Santa Maria Maior. A Sua construção data dos séc. XV e XVI, mas as casas anexas e o interior corespondem já a reformas do séc. XIX.
No interior merece destaque a Capela dos Mareantes, e o grupo escultórico "Deposição de Cristo no Túmulo" datadodo séc. XVI e oriundo da região de Antuérpia.
Parish church dedicated to Santa Maria Maior. It was built in the 15th and 16th century; however, the attached houses and the interior are the result of reformations carried out in the 19th century.
Inside, special attention should be paid to the Capela dos Mareantes (seafares´ chapel) and the sculpture " Deposition of Christ in the Tomb", which dates from the 16th century and comes from the Antwerp region.
