ABOUT THE CEMETERY

According to the Village of Cleveland Comprehensive Plan, "[t]he Cleveland Village Cemetery was formed in February, 1862 when William Foster sold 4.5 acres of land to the village for $300. It is located on North Street." According to the Find A Grave website, there are 1,009 graves in this old cemetery.
