This is a small United Methodist Church was established on April 20, 1858 on land donated by Dr. & Mrs. Oscar Hamilton. The original log building was destroyed by fire after the Civil War. The building was rebuilt in 1891 and remains the center of the present building.
The church is presently pastored by Glenn Hoskins.
