Ricardo Jorge de Almeida (Porto, May 9, 1858 - Lisbon, 29 July 1939) was a physician, researcher and hygienist, professor of medicine in Portugal and introducer of the modern techniques and concepts of public health. He has held various positions in health administration, achieving a strong political influence.
