The Dutch heritage of this community stands out in the bold colored tulips painted on the north side of Dove Christian Bookstore. The artists are Mark Alsum and Zack Maxon, and the mural has just been completed in October of 2011. Tulips appear in brilliant red, yellow and purple across the 100’ building giving the community a touch of spring all year long. A Dutch windmill adds an authentic touch in the upper left corner.
The mural is not hard to miss on the corner of Central Avenue and Second Street NE.
