This plaque commemorates the use of the Victoria Memorial Museum Building by Parliament and the Senate, after the Parliament Buildings fire of 1916.

This plaque is found inside the main entrance of the Canadian Museum of Nature. It is located in the first entryway, up the stairs, before the ticket counters. There is no need to pay for museum entrance in order to view and photograph the waymark.
The text of the plaque reads:
"After the burning of the Parliament Buildings on the night of 3rd February 1916, the House of Commons assembled in this building on the 4th and the Senate on the 8th of February. Parliament met here for the last time on 10th November, 1919, and assembled for the first time in the rebuilt Parliament Buildings on 26th February, 1920."
