The allegorical statues New Age//Nový vek was originally display at the World Exhibition Expo 58 in Brussels (now located outside the main gate of the Brno Exhibition Centre).
You can find this copy of sculpture in front of New Building of National Museum in capital city Prague.
The author of the sculptur is Vincenc Makovsky (1900–1966), a Czech sculptor and representative of our avant-garde between the wars. He was a founding member of the Prague surrealist group.
