A Força Aérea Portuguesa recebeu 30 T-37C, em 1963, dos quais 18 ao abrigo do programa Americano de assistência militar.
Colocados na Base Aérea Nº 1 em Sintra Foram retirados do inventário em 8 de Agosto de 1992, após a investigação ao último avião acidentado, ter concluído que o mesmo ocorreu devido a problemas estruturais.
Foram utilizados pela patrulha acrobática "Asas de Portugal" cuja pintura utilizada era a deste modelo.

The Portuguese Air Force received 30 T-37C in 1963, 18 were under U.S. military assistance program.
Placed at Air Base No. 1 in Sintra were removed from the inventory in August 8, 1992, after the investigation to the last plane crashed, have concluded that it was due to structural problems.
Were used by the acrobatic team "Asas de Portugal" whose painting was used in this model.
