CZ: Empírový zámecek Pohansko, který byl postaven v letech 1810 - 1811 podle plánu Josefa Hardmutha, hostí expozici dokumentující výsledky rozsáhlých archeologických výzkumu slovanského hradiska, které bylo na tomto území založeno už v 9. století.
Jedná se o symetrickou plochostropou stavbu s prízemními otevrenými arkádovými krídly, která má ve strední cásti jednopatrovou nástavbu. Pod rímsou prízemního patra a v cele nástavby jsou kruhové reliéfní medailony a obdélníkové reliéfy se štukovými výjevy inspirovanými antickými príbehy. V kruhových medailonech se odvíjí príbehy, vztahující se prevážne k bohyni lovu Diane.
Objekt leží v lužních lesích u Breclavi. Pred zámeckem je vybudováno obydlí z dob velkomoravské ríše, takzvaná zemnice, a také staroslovanská svatyne.
EN: In one of the buildings of the Lednice-Valtice Area, the empire chateau of Pohansko, which was built from 1810 to 1811 according to plans by Josef Hardmuth, there is an exhibition documenting the results of archaeological research at the Slavonic fort which was founded in this area in the 9th century.
It is a symmetrical flat-roofed building with wings featuring open arcades. In the middle there is an extension – a second floor. Below the ledge of the ground floor and on the extension, there are round medallions and oblong reliefs with stucco tableaux inspired by ancient tales. The round medallions mainly tell the story of the goddess of hunting, Diana.
The lodge is situated in the flood-plain forests near Breclav. In front of thebuilding a dwelling from the times of the Great Moravian Empire has been erected, a so-called grounding, and also an Old-Slavonic shrine.
