This benchmark is located at the summit of Raynolds Pass on Montans Hwy. 87 or Idaho Hwy. 87. The cap is located on the state line about 200 feet east of the highway and is set in concrete filling a segment of chimney liner. The cap was set by the U.S. Geological Survey in 1948 and was marked JRH19 with an elevation of 6834 feet.
