The Madison Slide Overlook is located off U.S. Hwy. 287 at about mile point 3.2. The viewpoint is located above the Earthquake Lake Visitor Center at the westernmost viewpoint in reached by the visitor center access road. At the viewpoint there are signs about the geology and wildlife. Mountain Goats and Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep are frequently seen from this viewpoint.
