The Dickinson Monument is a 8' high by 6' wide stone sculpture of three women on a 12' by 12' by 4' base. They presumably represent the same person at three stages of their life: youth - middle age - old age.

On the right is a beautiful young woman who is seated with her legs crossed at the ankles, right over left. Her left arm is in her lap. Her right arm is bent and outstretched; the hand is missing.

The central figure is a middle aged women, standing and looking straight ahead. Her left arm is bent up with her hand at shoulder level. Her right arm is stretched out to her right and the hand is missing.

The third figure is a old woman. She is seated on the ground, slightly bent over with her knees bent up high and spread apart. Her is hair covered with a scar and her right hand is in her lap.

The earliest date on the plaque in front of the monument is 1887. The lettering is somewhat worn. It appears to be inscribed:

George Richard Dickinson
Born December 15, 1832 - Died December 29, 1887

Mary Jane Clark his wife
Born February 5, 1839 - Died September 30, 1888

Hattie Dickinson Sewart

Born April 20, 1860 - Died October 15, 1915
