Addie Rachel Humphreys (Rachel Upchurch Humphreys) was born on April 9, 1901 and passed away on September 16, 2002. She was a resident of Anadarko since 1925 and worked many years as a cook. She retired from the Steakhouse Cafeteria at the age of 75.

On February 20, 1926 she married Allen Upchurch, who passed away on December 7, 1930. She later married John Humphreys on March 20, 1935. He passed away in 1945.

She is buried in beautiful Memory Lane Cemetery on the south side of Anadarko. Her headstone is a flat, red granite marker which reads:
