On the east side of Anadarko, the Rock Island depot still stands in all its glory. It is occupied these days by the Anadarko Heritage Museum, also known as the Anadarko Philomathic Pioneer Museum.
On the front of the depot, as well as on both ends, shields with the Rock Island name still advertize the fact that this was once a thriving depot for this town.
Actually, the name "ANADARKO" on the west end of the depot is another friendly ghost from days gone by.
