Verden Cemetery is located at the south end of S. 4th Street. The entrance on the north side of the cemetery is elevated from the road as the cemetery sits on top of a hill overlooking the town. It is very well maintained, and contains approximately 1000 internments.
The ground is slightly rolling with a few evergreens. The first recorded burial here was in 1900.
