We found two gas pumps here just as they were left when the store last used them. One has the price per gallon at 43 cents. The surroundings are almost as interesting as the pumps. Everything is just as it was left back when gas was 43 cents a gallon right down to the metal "say Pepsi please" sign on the wall.
The finish on the pumps is all but gone. Rust is beginning to take over but the pumps seem in good shape all considered. They have not be refinished or restored in any way. they are somewhat protected by the overhang of the station and the fact they do not face into the prevailing weather.
