The bus station is situated on a piece of land that is entered by The Minories and exited into Aldgate High Street. This is a terminus type bus station as routes start and end here and the bus driver can take a break and shifts are changed. There is a bit of an undercover waiting area but the buses stand out in the open. The bus station is owned and operated by Transport for London.

There is a coin operated toilet for use by both sexes that stands at the northern edge of the bus station. Not the best in the world!
