To reach the Copper Harbor Lighthouse, and as part of the tour, you ride down the length of Copper Harbor in a boat similar to an early 20th century lighthouse launch. During the cruise, the boat occasionally stops as the captain explains various points of interest along the way. Then you are put ashore to tour the lighthouse at Hays' Point. On the return the boat's path is on the town side if the harbor giving you a different view than what you had on the trip out.
