Our Lady of the Pines - A chapel built in 1952-53 to fill the religious needs of the local Copper Harbor residents and the many tourists who visit every summer. “Beauty in Simplicity” was the theme and a Finnish log building was constructed by Victor Oja of Mohawk. From local Mandan logs and rocks from the area, Mr. Oja also handcrafted the pews, holy water fonts and some of the sanctuary furniture.
