Columbia Park (2 acres) is a neighborhood park along the west side of the Deschutes River. The park features a small playground and open lawn surface. The lower level of the park, located along the river, features a small bridge connecting the eastside neighborhood to the park.
From 1910 to 1920 many buildings in Bend, including the Bend Railroad Depot (now the Art Station) and the Reid School, were built using local welded tuffs. The main stone quarry in Bend was at the location of Columbia Park.
