New York Mills is in rural Minnesota and this sculpure park is full of rural themed sculptures. The most prominent one is that of a tractor and farmer and is said to be the largest art tractor in the world.
All of the artwork is made of welded metal and focuses on some aspect of rural life. In addition to the tractor, there is a metal corn stalk or corn field, whimisical birds, bony dinosaurs, farm machinery, a few more abstract pieces and more. All of the artwork is made by local artists.
The park is a great pit stop for travelers. It has a large grassy area for stretching the legs, letting the kids burn some energy off, have a picnic lunch at one of the tables. There is an adjacent store with gas, hot deli food, cold drinks and restrooms. A local farm market is there in season.
