Constructed in 1853 by local builder, and serve the community until 1892. Is a square building with gabled roof measuring twenty-four feet by twenty-four feet. The shingled gable roof has cornice returns, and a gabled belfry frame sits on one end of the roof. Building where Justus Rathbone wrote the ritual which became the basis for the Order of the Knights of Pythias. Listed on National Register of Historic Places and functions as a Pythian shrine. Open to visitors in summer and early fall.
